Who was on site?

Rees Construction is a construction and field services contractor in Sudbury, Ontario. On a normal day its crews are spread across several job sites.

The owner, Tyler Pilon, describes how it used to be as chaos. There was no dependable record of who was where, or when a job was actually finished. When a client questioned whether the team had shown up, Rees had nothing to point to. Settling those questions took hours every week and strained good client relationships.

Running the same day

Hellotracks was up and running in about an hour. Nothing had to be installed in the trucks: the crews use the app on their phones. From the first day, every crew member showed up on the live map, and the routes between sites were put in order automatically.

Every visit leaves a record

Each time a crew arrives at a site, the visit is saved with the time and the GPS position. Nobody has to press a button or fill in a form. Over a week, that adds up to a timestamped record of every job.

When a client asks now

If a client asks whether the team came, Rees looks up the visit, with the time and the place. The question ends there. Fewer disputes also meant fewer hours spent chasing answers: the team got several hours back every week.
