The appointment is on the books. The window is your scheduled time.
ETA Page
Your customer knows you're coming.
One link per visit. It shows a live arrival window, where things stand, and, if you allow it, the worker on a map. No app, no login, no "where are you?" call.

Send a link, not a promise.
An appointment window is a guess. The ETA page is the truth. It updates every 15 seconds from the phone in your worker's pocket, and it tells the customer when the estimate is live and when it's just the schedule.
One link, three steps.
Create it from the job
Open the job, go to the ETA Page tab, click Create ETA page. Choose whether the customer sees the worker's name, the live map, both, or neither. Copy the link.
Share it your way
Paste it into your SMS, email, CRM, or booking confirmation. Or let Hellotracks email it a set number of minutes before arrival and create the page by itself.
They watch. You hear back.
The customer sees the window move as the worker drives. They can say they're ready, leave a gate code, or ask for a different time. Each one shows up on the job as a badge.
Four words. Nothing to decode.
The page uses the same four steps every time, so a customer who gets one link a year still understands it.
The worker tapped On the way. The window is now the live estimate, give or take ten minutes.
Under a kilometre away. The dot on the page pulses faster.
They're there. The map goes away, and the page says so.
What the customer sees is your call
Name. Map. Both. Neither.
Two switches per page: Worker name and Live map. The map is only there while the worker is actually driving to this visit. It appears when they set off and goes when they arrive. Never before, never after, never on a different job.
Pages expire on their own after 30 days. Revoke one and the link stops working that second. The link is the only key. There is nothing to log into and nothing to guess.
The page talks back.
Three things a customer can do, and what you see for each.
A green Ready badge on the job, with the time.
A blue Note badge on the job. The gate code is in the tooltip and inside the job.
An orange Reschedule? badge, and a line in your notification feed so nobody misses it.
Or let Hellotracks send it
An email before they arrive.
Turn on ETA Email Notifications and pick 60, 30, 15, or 5 minutes before arrival. When the worker sets off, the customer gets an email with the arrival time, a picture of the map, and the live page link. If no page exists yet, Hellotracks makes one.
Email only. Text messages go through the SMS tool you already use. The link is plain text and fits anywhere.
For the tools you already run
Everything the ETA Page tab does, the API and the command line do too. Create a page when a job is booked, write the link into your CRM, revoke it from a script.
Common questions
Does my customer need an app or an account?
No. The link opens in any browser on any phone or computer. The link is the access.
When can the customer see the worker's location?
Only if Live map is on for that page, and only while the worker is on the way or approaching during the trip to that visit. Before they set off and after they arrive there is no map.
How long does a link work?
30 days by default, up to 90 through the API. You can revoke any page at any time and the link stops working immediately.
Can Hellotracks text the link to the customer?
Not today. Hellotracks can email it automatically before arrival, or you paste the link into the SMS tool you already use.
What if the worker's phone loses signal?
The page keeps the last known position and says so: "Based on their last known location - may change". Once the phone reports again, the window updates.
Can a job have two pages?
One active page per job. Creating it again gives you the same link. Revoke it if you want a fresh one.
Is the page branded?
It carries your company name and initial at the top and in the footer. There is no logo upload today.
Send the first link today.
Open any job scheduled for tomorrow. Create the page. Text yourself the link and watch it change when the worker sets off.
